Now that the voters have confirmed that they would like to establish a new municipality.... a new name will be chosen for the area.

What name would you like to see listed on a BC map to represent the community?

I would think that the people in Westbank would be a bit miffed at the possibility of changing their community's name, along with the Westside.

If it has to be renamed, I personally think that a First Nations related name would be a good idea, as many of the valley's towns and cities are based on these dialects.
