Armstrong fair?

Anyone been to the Armstrong fair before if so what is it like and is it worth going on a cloudy day?

I beleive it is well worth going but haven't managed to get there myself as yet. My 17 year old is going tomorrow with a friend if that helps. Lol

We planned to go but decided to decorate instead! With the rain I am glad we are decorating!!!!!

Well our son rang to say he was staying on for the bull riding show which starts at 8pm so must be enjoying it.
May find out more when we see him but don't hold out much hope with a teenager. Lol

We decided not to go after all due to the weather, so decided to pop over and visit Manchesterchic instead and had a nice afternoon with them, cheers for the replys guys and cheers for this afternoon Dee and family.

Hope your 17 year old doesn't fancy himself as a bullrider Nigel!

We're going today . . . for the 3rd day :thumbup and still haven't managed to get around everything yet!
(But then we do live in Armstrong).
There's a big fairground - but it's pricey (aren't they always :unhappy ), but then there is tons of free good old fashioned entertainment and stuff to see.
The Rodeo in the evening is brilliant - but hey I'm a total sucker for the whole western heritage scene!
IMO well worth the trip :thumbup

I love the IPE in Armstrong. This is the first year we havent been. The rodeo is especially great.
