Draftsperson opportunities required.
Does anyone know of any companies in the region that uses or requires CAD draftspeople.
Looking to see what the opportunities are for a Brit who wants to emigrate. Would like to come out under the PNP setup as skilled worker takes a hell of a time. Have been looking at Vancouver but salaries don't seem to allow me to buy a decent sized family home (2 adults, 2 kids and one Rhodesian Ridgeback).
Any replies appreciated.

Hmm.. maybe look at Public sector jobs.. in planning etc.. sounds like you'd be suited to those and the salaries should be good - also perhaps water management?? Just a thought.

The "sunshine tax" that is prevalent in the Okanagan historically means lower wages than on the coast. Realistically, the housing isn't much cheaper than on the Lower Mainland of Vancouver ... so unfortunately, you may not see more value for your $$$ here either.
