We had to go down to Keremeos (on the Penticton to Vancouver Road). Lovely area, very much like Switzerland. Well worth a lazy drive. Tiny backwater, but lovely. Next time we're going to take our gear and try out a trail or two.

I quite like the views of Keremeos - we'll have to take a wee jaunt over that way soon.
Keremeos is actually in the Similkameen Valley - a close neighbour to the Okanagan Valley. I've seen it noted in tourist magazines as being a part of the Okanagan. The valley gets bigger, depending on which article you read!

Aha! We spotted it in our guide book on BC, and it's sorted of merged into the Okanagan in there. We're back down to Keremeos in around a weeks time to collect our puppy who was born and raised there.
