Anyone been to Wells Gray provincial park?
We're thinking of going there for a couple of days (dog friendly ranch) so we can, hopefully see some bears and moose.....
Thanks

The last time that I was in Wells Gray was 18 years ago but I've been thinking of going back either later this summer or next.

There are only a couple of campgrounds inside the park so you might want to check on vacancy. You can boat further north into the park, though.

Of course, Helmken Falls is a must-see. You can drive in to view it from the north side of the canyon and you can also hike a trail along the south rim of the canyon.

There are also many hiking trails up the volcanoes (there are many dormant volcanoes) ranging from one to several days long.

Thanks, we're booked to go for a couple of days. Will try and get some decent shots to post on the site.

We stayed in Clearwater 3 years ago at the KOA campground, very nice pool there and if i remember correctly was one of the hottest days we had on our trip.

We didn't manage to venture all the way into the park as it was only a 1 day stop off and time ran out. They also do white water rafting close by and i'm told that is highly recommended.

Pictures Molly in life jacket and full anorak sitting at the front of the boat with her tounge hanging out.
