We went to the Two Chefs Restaurant just outside Peachland, last weekend.
I would recommend a trip there, its well worth it.
The food ( British) is really good and the place is friendly, (you can take Rugrats ) the owners are great.
I would book (250-767-1991) as they are busy and close at 8pm

Ps plenty of :beers :beers :beers

ADMIN NOTE: Restaurant is now permanently closed.

You can finish your meal, but i think you have to be sitting down by then.
Isin't 6pm to 8pm peek time for eating. Every time we go at that time places are always full.

8:00 is early, but that restaurant is out of town. It isn't likely to have much, if any, business after 8:00 anyway.

We often got that feeling when the kids were younger. We used to ply my son with chocolate buttons to stop him from being too noisy and to avoid all those funny looks from all the other diners.

Now Bleech are we getting personal???? Do hope not!! We fight very dirty!!!!! LOL

We did not have the kids in tow but were having quality adult time with a Canadian couple. The owner Tom actually asked us to stay on after they had closed and bought us a drink.

I do that, the only problem is after half an hour or so the chocolate kicks in and things get messy

Oh a "lock in" eh?
I remember a couple of those on my various trips to Ireland. They are great at locking the pub doors and serving into the wee hours.
Somebody told me recently that although the smoking ban has been in effect for a long time now in Ireland, a lot of pubs apparently have after hours lock ins and then they get all the ashtrays out!
Not much fun if youre a non smoker though i suppose.
