Here is the revised article ...
Westside Growth Anticipated!
Recently, the opinion of Kelowna ReMax owner, Cliff Shillington was reported as saying that the Westside is the place to look to buy a home or property. He anticipates real estate prices on the Westside will jump significantly in 2008. Mr. Shillington believes that once the bridge is completed in July 2008, properties values on the Westside will increase upwards of 10%.
As convenience is very important to people, the new bridge should allow traffic to flow much quicker. Mr. Shillington says the Westside is already an attractive market and a new bridge will make it that much more attractive. He says that the Westside is very appealing as it’s less expensive and all the commercial activity going on is a good thing.
Mr. Shillington also noted that when the Okanagan Connector was completed in the early 1990’s, it had a similar effect throughout our area. He does not feel that the upcoming vote on Westside Governance will not have much affect on property values.

Thanks - we're going to be looking at Westside (and a whole lot of other places as well) when we come over in April.
The cynical old bat in me (having working in finance in London for 10 years) wonders if the fact that this article was written by a real estate agent has anything to do with it?
That said, it seems logical!
