Anyone know of playgroups in Westbank?

Now that we have landed I wanted our darling son to still keep to his routine of nursery 2 half hours per day.

Does anyone know of any playgroups/toddler groups etc that we could take him too in the mornings?

I have tried to look on the net but not much is coming up!

To be honest I am not sure there is a toddler group in Westbank - there is one in Kelowna that Kobo has been along to so she is probably the best person to ask - though that is just once a week for a couple of hours.

I seem to have a feeling now that there is a toddler group at the Boys and Girls club in Westbank - again Kobo may know about it.

Other than that, if you are looking for a nursery to put him into you are probably looking at going over into Kelowna to find one and then you will be lucky as they are pretty always full up.

Yes, that is up in Glenrosa. You could also try the Community Health office in Westbank where you take the kids for their vaccinations, they may have a bulletin board or list of playgroups. Something I did when my daughter was little was I went to an exercise class and registered her in a toddlers class at Parkinsoin Rec Centre in Kelowna. Perhaps they have something similar at Johnson Bentley pool in Westbank.

THey do have some good classes down at the Johnson Bentley - if you check on their website it lists them on there. Not sure of the web address though - sorry!
