Haven't heard of the Armstrong Tulip Festival? You may not know about it because it hasn't been established in Armstrong yet!
The former Abbotsford Tulip Festival operated for 4 years and attracted thousands of visitors during the bloom months of April and May. According to a news release, the land where the tulips grew has been sold and Alexis Szarek, a third-generation tulip farmer, and her family have now relocated to Armstrong. They hope to bring the beauty of the blooms to this North Okanagan community.
