Some of the older houses in Lower Mission have quite big yards. They might need a bit of work done (but if you are lucky then you will get some change from the $400k to go towards the renos.

Sorry to put my sensible head on, but you might want to check out the schools and their catchment areas. It works very much like the UK - so that was a big consideration for us.

taking everything on board and see what comes up.
hopefully coming out in a couple of months for interviews, so i will have a big list to follow.

Do you have a place to stay while you check out the OKANAGAN? The vacancy rates have been really low lately.
