Building companies?

Hi
We've just returned from Kelowna and have put a depsoit on a plot in KV.

Does anyone have any experinec of any of the 7 builders? We met with one from 'Kentland' and visited some of his builds. We then met with 'Rykon' at the office at the Wilden site. We were impressed by them and their houses, I also loiked there pricing structure, ie a base price with extras added, whereas Kentland quoted a price for a house similar to the show house.
Any titbits or gossip about any of the builders or even better, first hand experience would be appreciated.

Meant to say on the other post, welcome and congrats on buying your plot. We're newbies too, and still wet behind the ears, but good to hear you're settling soon.

I don't know much about builders, although we know of someone who's having a house built by Rykon up somewhere in Wilden - can try and see what he thinks part way through the project if that would help?

They are building some mega places there, aren't they? When we were staying in Dilworth we looked at some showhomes, starting at $1m complete with water feature in the lounge......needless to say, we looked around and then slunk out of the door.....
BTW if you want some contacts in KV, we know a great family, with two kids who are very active in the community there - run soccer schools etc (not sure if you've got kids?)

Thanks. We looked around all the show homes at Wilden. We liked the Rykon style, so if you have any comments fom your friends, it would be appreciated.

We went around the show house at the 'Mountain ??'. It was only on the market for about $8 Million, just a fraction out of my depth!!!! Mind you the 17 car garage is bigger than our house!
