There was an article in Friday's Capital News here in Kelowna that introduced BCjobnetwork.com
Here are some snippets from the article:
Employers in Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton get first crack at a new job service Black Press is launching through its community newspapers, which will include the lower mainland in the near future.
BCjobnetwork.com is an on-line employment service that will connect job seekers with prospective employers through a search engine that matches candidates with 50 per cent of the qualifications or more listed in employers' job postings.
For employers, the service allow them to view a list of pre-qualified applicants rated by how well they match the job requirements in using a state-of-the-art applicant tracking system.
For both job seekers and employers, this initiative allows each to spend more time concentrating on relevant job candidates or job openings.
The service is free to job seekers and is now offered free of charge to all employers advertising in the Capital News.
