Accommodations

Post by Moops » Wed Jul 21, 2021 2:01 pm

If you have accommodations or land to offer evacuees or first responders, please remember to note the city or town at the beginning of your listing. It might be an idea to check with your home insurance provider to ensure you don't have any potential issues in offering your assistance.

Please don't create an account with your business name >>>> you are welcome to mention the name in your post. Cheers!

If you don't have a Facebook account, please contact admin & we'll connect you with the person noted in the post.

Click on topic page numbers at top right or bottom right to see more listings.

If you are an evacuee, please remember to register with your region's emergency services!!

In the vicinity of LUMBY

I have a small hobby farm 20 minutes from Lumby. I don’t have much to offer...I can offer hospitality, space, encouragement and prayer. People can camp on the Shuswap River or in a meadow or the forest, there can parking for some smaller rv (no power). Most animals won’t be turned away and how we make that work we can figure out as we go.

Lumby BC

Excerpt from the Food Bank topic in the General & Info section:

Lumby OAP Hall
1737 Glencaird Street in Lumby, BC
(250) 547-6417

There may be spaces at the Lions Campground and there is an overflow area behind the OAP hall if anyone is in need of a place to park their trailer. For people with animals there are also a couple of farms that may be able to help you with insight camping available. Check with the OAP hall as they have lists of available resources.
