LUMBY

Lumby OAP Hall
1737 Glencaird Street in Lumby, BC

Further daily info available on the following Facebook group: Lumby O.A.P. / Monashee 50+ Club Branch No. 117
https://www.facebook.com/groups/2817830 ... ?ref=share

With the help of the Lovin from the Oven and Helping Hands groups, plus the assistance from many Lumby residents, there is help available at the Lumby OAP Hall.

From Norma's post to the Around the Block Lumby Facebook group: UPDATED August 6, 2021

Hello Lumby and evacuees from outlying areas (Falkland, Monte lake, Westside Road, etc).
We have once again set up a food and supplies station at the Lumby OAP Hall for any fire evacuees staying in our area. The Hall will be open from 9 AM to 2 PM, 7 days a week, as of Monday Aug 9, 2021.

In addition, there may be spaces at the lions campground and there is an overflow area behind the OAP hall if anyone is in need of a place to park their trailer. For people with animals there are also a couple of farms that may be able to help you with insight camping available. Check with the OAP hall as they have lists of available resources.
Thanks Lumby and Vernon, as always you are awesome.
It takes a village and we are that village.
