Canada Day
What's happening in Osoyoos on July 1st? We'll be passing through and wondered if we'll have a smooth journey or end up in a parade?

Re: Canada Day
Well Proto, you just may want to practice your best cheesy grin
and brush up on that Queen Elizabeth wave!!!
It appears that there are 2 celebrations happening in Osoyoos on July 1 - the Canada Day festivities, along with the Cherry Fiesta. Most of the activities are located at the Osoyoos Community Beach & Park... with a parade scheduled as well. The pancake breaky starts things off at 6AM and the events continue through to the fireworks that conclude at 11:30 PM.
If I recall, Highway 3, which goes through the centre of town, is also referred to Main Street and I have a feeling that's where the parade route will run. As long as you don't drive through between 10 AM and noon, you should be okay without additional decorations on your vehicle!

Re: Canada Day
Heck, we ended up at the tail end of a parade in Nova Scotia last year so we're old hands at it now
Thanks.

Thanks.
